Marc Lawrence System

Anyone catch Marc Lawrence System last week? It's posted in his mag this year and has a really good record. Went 3-1 last week with Packers, Bills, Jets, and Panthers.

System has Ravens this week. Not sure about laying 5' to Browns, but Baltimore Pk -230 looks good. It only has picks Weeks 4 and 5.

PLAY A 1-3 team off a loss if opponent is off a win. Only exception is don't play them if they are more than a 7 pt dog.

Dave the Packers and and Panthers were not active in this sytem last weekend.

The Packers were winless and the Panthers had 2 wins going into last weekend.

Thanks for clearing that up Frank. I think I confused those with something else. I think the Packers were a Turnover System Play of mine.

As far as the Panthers, I posted that backwards. The Cardinals were the Marc Lawrence System pick, which was the loser against the Panthers.

Systems have to be weighed carefully for rationale. I like this particular one in this post. It makes sense to me.

A team is 1-2 and falls to 1-3. It seems to be a crucial turn around game. Either pull to 2-3 or fall to 1-4. I like Marc's reasoning with this particular System.

It hits over 75% and even better if the team in question is playing a crucial division game (see Bills last week).

Having said that, I will agree that much of Marc's stuff is useless. Nebraska is 0-89 ATS when the lose SU at home. YA' THINK????!!!!

I just pulled that number out of the air, but you can find rediculous things like that in the book. Or so-and-so is 45-0 ATS when they score 75 or more points in a game. No #$%! Sherlock.

I agree about Marc. Many of his systems are useless. You are right they are useless garbage like your Nebraska example. Many are predicated on the game's result after it was played. If we knew the game result we wouldn't need his systems.

The favorite in this system is 9-2-1. Baltimore is the favorite.

Marc does not deliniate between whether or not either team was off a bye week. Unless I misunderstood it...

Yes and no. It depends on how you consider the bye week. Dolphins were off a bye. They did win the previous week. So I guess they were a play in the system.
