  • Dumb Question of the Day-Part 3

Since I have already asked two questions which had a good response, I thought I would try one more.
The question is a three part one:
    1) If all of a sudden there was no gambling anywhere-local, offshore, etc., how much interest would you still have in watching and following college and professional sports relative to what you have now.
    2) Rate your sports in order of enjoyment WITH gambling(eg college football, pro football, college baskets, pro baseball, etc.) AND WITHOUT gambling.
    3) Which sport would diminish the most in interest for you if you couldn't bet on it.(I realize that this question is sort of similar to #2 but a little different as it requires you to think of which sport(s) you really don't care about at all if you can't bet on it).
I will defer and give my answers later.

    1) I think my interest would decrease slightly. I watch no basketball or hockey as it is, except for the NCAA tournament. Then I'm glued to the TV. I would still watch baseball, as i'm a huge fan. I would probably still try to catch the marquee college games, but you wouldn't catch me watching Fla Atlantic/N Texas on ESPN Gameplan. I would still watch the NFL the way I do now.

    2) WITH: NFL, CFB, MLB, CBB (I don't watch hockey or NBA now) WITHOUT: MLB, NFL, CFB, CBB

    3) CFB

It looks like I should have quit after the first two questions; with the exception of the Mule's great response, it appears there is not much interest. Lets bump it once and only once and see if any is there is at least a little more interest.
