First let me start off by saying that while I have not posted many of my picks on this site, I have a pretty dismal record when I do, probably like 1-5 or something. As a result, either because of superstition or my subsconscious, I rarely post them any more. Like somehow posting them makes them losers. Foolish thinking on my part. Anyhow.
On Saturday I had a losing day in college football. Lots of bad breaks and shitty turnarounds. One of my top plays was Texas Tech at -4 who proceeded to blow a 21 point lead in their game. This just seemed to be the trend for me on Saturday.
So overall I was frustrated and thought I needed a breather from football.
Then Sunday came around and I had to decide if I really was going to stay away from picking games. I decided to play games but for only half a unit. A unit for me is 50 bucks.
So I made 7 plays on the early games. I thought I would see how I did then make plays on the late games that I really liked. By 3pm I was pretty sure that was going to be 7-0 which figured cuz I decided to bet so little. At this point I felt like I was in a groove and would go big (for me) on two late games. I parlayed the Colts and Panthers for 340 bucks. Luck went my way and the Panthers came up with a tough cover on the road. At this point I felt like I could pick no wrong. A rare but great feeling I might add. So I teased the Bengals and the over for 75 bucks. So I ended up going 9-0 on the day with a profit of 1278 bucks.

So I guess the lesson here is that after a bad day, it's not necessary to go chasing, making emotional bets. You more experienced cappers already know this so I'm telling this to the new guys (myself included). I played very conservatively on the early games but then thought I had the day pegged so I went for it with my parlay.
I also wanted to share my good fortune with you guys and the great cappers on this site like John, Chuck, Pun, Wayne, RJ, Kapt, Kuelkat. I'm sure I missed a few names. Thanks for all that you guys do.
That being said, I like the Chargers to win by at least a touchdown tonight. So either I continue the hot streak or trip up because I just posted it here! hahha.
