For today........
2* Dale Earnhardt Jr. -140 over Jamie McMurray
Jamie McMurray's car has been pretty much junk since he unloaded on Friday. He posted the 40th and 39th fastest times in the two practices and rolls off 30th for today's race. Dale Jr. won at Chicagoland earlier in the year, and this track is very similar to Chicagoland, as close as one track gets to another track on the circuit. Jr. posted the 14th and 20th fastest times in the 2 practices. Jr. rolls off 38th but that doesn't bother me too much as he just has not qualified well at all this year. Both drivers have had some success here in the past with both posting top 10 finishes here last year. I think it could be close but I think Jr. gets the better finish here!
1* Elliot Sadler -135 over Rusty Wallace
I really don't know why I bet against Rusty as he has seemed to bite me in the ass every wager I place against him this year. Elliot Sadler was 21st in the first practice and 1st in the second practice. Sadler had a strong qualifying effort and will start on the outside of the front row after being nudged off the Bud Pole by Matt Kenseth. Rusty ran 29th and 22nd in the two practices and starts the race from the 33rd position. Sadler finished 3rd in this race last year while Rusty came in at 18th. I look for Rusty to have a pretty solid run as his team has made good changes to his car to get him near the top 10 week in and week out, but I think Elliot has a top 5 run and will cross the finish line ahead of Rusty here!
Good luck everyone!
