Could not believe my eyes

UCLA had 4th and goal from the 2 yard line leading 41-40. With 6 seconds remaining they called timeout and scored a TD.

It's nice to catch these kind of breaks. Especially after the Colorado St debacle.

Why would a coach go for the 2 point conversion up by 4?

Got screwed by not making 3 extra PAT's.........There was no reason the rams should have gone for 2 after a TD in the 3rd quarter then again in the 4th and the last TD they went for 2 again which would have made it 5pts.......even if they go for 2 and make it....it would have taken it to 6....so what your still a point down should utah score......

Believe it or not Frank, I've been sitting at my computer and desk since about 9:30 central this morning. Besides getting up to piss, eat, and Oh I took a shower, I haven't left here. I'm so depressed right now. Watching all these tough beats I took. But the sure bet is I'll be back tomorrow.

It almost like a GILLETTE JOB did'nt that call made absolutely no sense.the scary thing is I had a feeling they where not gonna kick the extra point.You think on the third try they would of given the ball to thier RB on a screen or something!

The amaizing thing is Cal had over 300 yards running the ball and still lost! Drew carried that team on his back.Great call by UCLA coach on the pass play to Drew!

I know this wont make complete sense but here is why coaches tradionally go for two up by four late in the game. The is no advantage to being up by either four or five points. If you are up by six there is the hope that the opposing team who already MUST score a TD might miss the extra point. I had Colo. St -4 and the hook so got screwed as well but had UCLA +1.5 so had that one.
I hope Iexpained that well but the entire time I was afraid Colo. St. would go for two...

That explains the last attempt, but why did they go for the two point conversion 3 times. Thats what we did in High School back in South Dakota. But that was because we didn't have a kicker ever.
