Tonight the Bruins head into the igloo as +120 dogs. I like the value here. First, this line is being based on Sidney Crosby's home debut, and playing a team that is 0-2. Boston is a far better team than the record states. Last night loss, was not reflective of the game on the nice. Boston had to press short handed, the last two goals might as well been empty netters. Also, it seems that Boston has put Sergi Samsonov on the first line with Joe Thorton and Glen Murray. That front line is better than most power play front three. The play of Patrice Bergeron and Brad Isbister will have to be enough on the second line, and special teams with the penalty kill of Travis Green and Tom FItzgerald gives the edge to Boston.
Finally, Mike O'connell, the gm for the Bruins in now under the gun to sign Nick Boyton who is holding out. GM's do not want to give agents anymore ammo in contract talks.....
