Only been posting my plays for about 2 to 3 weeks but this is one of my strongest plays this season if not the strongest. I really like this play here.
Fri MLB Plays
2 units Chi Sox +148
2 uints CWS/Bos over 9.5 -113
MLB GOY NYY -1.5 -111 for 10 units
The Angels send out Paul Byrd, a finesse and a side arm or sometimes a submarine type pitcher. He is not your typical playoff pitcher that over powers you, but tries to get you off balance. He throws a lot of strikes and the opposing team will put the ball in play. He is also a fly ball pitcher and I believe both of these factors don't vote well for Byrd against the Bronx bombers. On the other side of the ball NYY will start the big unit. The big flame throwing southpaw has picked up his game the last few starts. His bread and butter pitch, the slider has had more tilt of late and that spells trouble for the light hitting Angels. Johnson's fastball has had more life of late with sinking action and a little more speed hitting 94-96 mph on the gun while earlier was only hitting low 90's. The Angels lineup should appear as listed below. Johnson should be able to neutralize lefties Anderson, Erstad, Finley, and Kennedy who really are the only hr threats other than Vlad. The key here for Johnson will be to limit walks, keep Figgins off base, and don't allow Vlad to beat you. If he does those things this will be a blow out. Prediction Yankees 7 Angles 2
GL to me and everyone at bettors chat this weekend
1) Figgins, 3B
2) Cabrera, SS
3) Anderson, DH
4) Guerrero, RF
5) Rivera, LF
6) Erstad, 1B
7) B. Molina C
8) Finley, CF
9) Kennedy, 2B
The only other lineup I could see here is benching Finley, moving Figgins to center and Rob Quinlan plays third, which to me doesn't matter.
