I'm on a major roll right now. With Wednesday's No. Ill. win I'm 27-10 my last 37 plays in pro and college combined.
CFB YTD 21-14 +7.6 units
2* 2-0 +4.0 units
1* 19-14 +3.6 units
NFL YTD 9-3 +8.45 units
2* 4-1 +5.8 units
1* 5-2 +2.65 units
Combined 30-17 +16.05 units
Here is my full college slate for the weekend as I hope to keep this streak going. I'm heavy on favorites this week.
2* Pitt -12
Is making a double play on Wannstedt going to be my kiss of death? Actually, the Pitt offense Wannstedt has ruined showed major life in the second half last week versus Rutgers. Cincinnati, on the other hand, is a major go-against. Pitt, desperate for a win, at home romps.
2* Virginia Tech -34 1/2
Marshall isn't very good and V-Tech is unbeaten ATS. Predicted final score: V-Tech 59 Marshall 0.
1* Arkansas -25 1/2
Arkansas has a great home field record under Nutt. But they're off to a slow start and really need a blowout to build momentum. I still think they're a good team. Lou-Monroe gave me a 2* win earlier when, as predicted, they were killed by Wyoming. I hope they lay down again.
1* Toledo -22
Toledo always wins by 40 at home (or so it seems). Toledo is 12-1 ATS at home their last 13 games! Their QB was out in the last game at Fresno but they're off a bye and everybody's healthy. E Mich pays the price.
1* Bowling Green -20
BG was my other 2* winner in CFB this year when they destroyed Temple last week, covering the spread by 35! That was BG's first home game of the year and they're back at home this week. Ohio U can't score and won't be able to keep up.
1* BYU +7 1/2
Finally, a dog. I stubbornly think New Mexico is overrated and BYU has played decently against a tough schedule. BYU's head coach is the fromer defensive coordinator at New Mexico. Possible straight up upset.
1* Georgia +3
I believe Georgia will play Alabama for SEC championship and that both will be unbeaten at the time. Therefore, I obviously believe they'll win this one. This is Georgia's first real opponent of the year. Tennessee may be worn down after its emotional wins over Florida and LSU and again showed only tame offense LW vs. Mississippi.
Opinion only: Texas (I think they win big but I can't make a play on Mack Brown over Stoops until he finally beats him.)
