no freaking way. I have lived in San Diego all my life and watched this team play this season. All you got to look at is Pedro Astacio is on the mound. This guy is washed up and will get hammered against one of the best lineups in baseball especially on the road. The Padres really have no power threat so they will have to manufacture runs by getting consecutive hits and rallies and I don't see that with this lineup against Mulder. This one gets ugly.

This is baseball. Anything can happen on any given day. +1.5 RL for me.

I'll take a shot with S.D. with all that chalk. Astacio has given up only 1-2 earned runs in his last 6 outings, pitching at least 6 innings everytime out. Mulder is very liable to choke badly.

The only reason I say yes, is because Astacio has pitched well of late, but at +215, I don't think it's worth a small play. It would have to be +300 for me to even consider it.

I think they have a good chance. ASTACIO last 3 starts era 1.89 MULDER last 3 STARTS 5.68. + everyone is on ST. LOUIS and I see + 260 on SAN DIEGO it is worth a shot.

i personally don't like astacio, but at that price a small wager might be worthy. Hopefully after Peavy's injury even though moral is low, the padres might want to play up above par. but who knows.

My answer is NO, but you would be getting all kinds of line value after the Cards jumped out BIG inm Game 1. It is still baseball and it is the playoffs and the Cards bullpen didnt exactly show it off in Game 1...
