NHL on friday huh? I'm intrigued... all I knew tonight was, "bet against the thrashers!" and, hey, they lost! I think no matter what the money line is, it's worth betting against them... they'll lose their first 5 or six straight, and pretty much have an abysmal season. Our marquee player is still in Moscow, and isn't sure he's coming back this season. I mean, I live in atlanta, and I know that the traffics bad, but come on! Moscow?!?!

BigJake, i actually dont find Atlanta that bad of a team. I am not sure i agree with the Heatley trade for Hossa, but nonetheless the Thrashers played well tonight, they lost 2-0, but actually outshot the Panthers in the game 34-29.

I live not too far from the head coach Bob Hartley in Hawkseburry, near Ottawa

lets see what happens in their season and if they can get back Kovalchuck, he is key to that team offensively.
