I could have made a ton of cash if i would have went against them.. I don't always watch what I bet, especially if I'm nervous about it. Lots of times I'll just catch the highlight reel if there's a new simpsons, my gf wants it in the buttie, or I have the runs...

You need to find a woman who loves sports, gambles, and plays in all the office pools/leagues like i have! :D She goes to my thread every night and plays what she wants on the games (Usually $10 -$20) each. She cheers with me and she does most of the computer work in excel for my pools. hahahaha ... She is awesome!


Believe me. Past relationships have ended because i found out sports was my true love .... Not this one, She's a keeper and she let's me do what i love to do and joins in on it! :D

If there were no football game tonight and thus no sporting event on which to bet(baseball begins tomorrow), what would you guys(gals?) do tonight?
I realize this situation does occur a few times a year, most noteworthy Christmas Eve. for the most part, but I thought it would be interesting to hear some answers.
I for one would either call up my lfiancee in Colombia again and struggle to communicate in Spanish or and is more likely write more dumb posts like this one.

This past Saturday I bet a handful of games. I watched no college football. I spent the day with my children.

I rarely watch to games I bet on. I'd watch TV, surf the web or go out for a couple of drinks.

Frank, If i had to do the stuff alone or without her, i would be single for life. She knows more about sports than any women i've ever met. We NEVER argue about a game because she likes playing the same side as me or not at all. She is awesome and i enjoy watching the games with her more than i do with buddies. Sounds weird huh?

im married my wife tried to get into football watching with me but didnt get into it so on days when games are on tv which it seems every night she leaves me alone in my gambling room to watch the action . dig this she doesnt care or ask how much im in the hole as long i am able to cover the bills

we were together about 6 or7 years before marrige so she knew what she was getting into but it works out its not like im chasing after whores she wouldnt go for that
