yeah, he is cooling it for awhile ... Sent me an e-mail and told me he wanted to devote more time to his family ... Great guy he is .. I miss him also ... i am sure he will be back in time ...

have to find that balance and not let it get out of hand......Most games i do not even watch or obsess about.....To me it is what it is and i have no control.....

Life is to short to worry about what we have no control...

My advice...bet the games and go about your life....no checking in for scores and swearing when you lose....This upsets your loved ones and makes them concerned....

This is meant to be fun....and to win of course and if you can not strike that balance....do not gamble.....Seriously......

I hope everything is alright. I know I was bitching a little yesterday because of a family get together, but you know once we got out there it was alright. I too started to see how happy my wife was with us looking like a couple instead of me on the PC and her on the couch watching the TV. I've been making more time for us and things have gotten better. I do hope that everything with his mother is ok. I know how that can be. We lost our mother early last year ourselfs, then we had a brother pass away on 12/ 23, than our other brother passed away on 12/ 27, and we had a neice pass away early this year. It's been a bad year for our family. Our time here is short, and we should make time to spend with family and friends as much as we can. I know it's easy said than done sometimes, but if you can keep that in your mind you'll find time to make time.

I remember that thread and i've thought about it every time i've seen him post. I was wondering why he would post a thread like that and come back a week later posting plays. Seemed odd at the time.

I emailed him about this and asked what was up and if he was o.k.

He said he was and that he kinda missed the place and couldn't stay away. He did appreciate me caring and he said it was a reminder of what he was quickly slipping back into. He might have just taken a family break again. Good for him and he will be back soon ..... !
