Any input on who rests Sunday for NY? Yanks still in a home field advantage chase for 1st round. Plus incentive to knock Boston out or force a play in game Monday. Though an extra day of rest might be in order. Mussina is a nervous nelly though and superstitous so he might want to go on regular rotation. Thought???

They said last night before the game that Torre said that if it came down to this situation like it is now.. That he would not hessitate bringing out Riveria or anyone that he needed to to beat Boston and have them not make the playoffs..

Yanks have a 1.5 game lead over the Angels.. I think Angels would have to win today and tomorrow and hope the Yanks lose in order for them to get homefield.. Im saying the road to the World Series will go straight through Yankees Stadium.. If the playoffs were to start today here is what it would look like on the Al side:

Angels @ Yanks
Boston @ Chicago WS

The Yankees will be celebrating tonight, and they won't play nearly as hard tomorrow as the Red Sox, besides the fact that most of the starters won't play. The line will be Red Sox -300 and they'll win.
