We cashed in the over with Air Force and Colorado State last night! This is my play for Friday night....
NCAA Football
5 STAR: Pittsburgh (+1) OVER RUTGERS
Risking $550 to win $500
Line from BetJamacia on 9/30/05
I like the Panthers to get the win here. Pitt is off to a horrible start, but I think they will get it done here. The Panthers defense has been outstanding so far this season and they rank 19th in the nation in total defense. They should be able to handle a Rutgers offense that is about middle of the pack at 28 points per game. On the other side of the ball the Pitt offense has struggled, but they have faced some very good defensive teams to open the season. I see Pitt quarterback Tyler Palko and company getting on track against a Rutgers team that is 82nd in the nation in total defense. I also like fading teams that are favored to beat a team that has owned them in the past as Pittsburgh has done to Rutgers in this case. Pitt will be gunning for its seventh consecutive win against Rutgers in this game. The Panthers have outscored the Scarlet Knights, 215-84, during their current six-game series winning streak. I see another Panthers victory here!
2005/2006 NCAA FOOTBALL RECORD
5 STAR RECORD 3-3 (-2.00 UNITS)
3 STAR RECORD 6-3 (+8.10 UNITS)
2 STAR RECORD 2-1 (+1.80 UNITS)
1 STAR RECORD 3-2 (+0.80 UNITS)
OVERALL RECORD 14-9 (+870 UNITS)
A $100 player would up $870
