Fyi...vandy Looking Ahead To Lsu I Think..

as i have stated in previous threads i have a true friend who is on the coaching staff of vanderbilt...i have posted 2 plays on vandy this year and won them both, so when i get some info it is usually pretty good...i just got of the phone with him 5 minutes ago, going over some last minute details as i will be going down next week for the lsu game...its a real college fooball fans dream trip 3rd time last 2 years, i will tell you about it later...3 times in a period of a 15 minute conversation he said that "he hoped the guys were not looking past MTSU...2 times in the same conversation he said "this has not been the greatest week of practice they've had"...i know this guy like a book and he was almost skeptical of this game, maybe its just the pressure of finally being with a winning team. he also told me that ESPN2 picked up the lsu game and it will air saturday the 8th at 7e.t. and commodore stadium would be sold out...i know the dores have not been on nat. t.v since 1999, they were on espnu this year but not sure that is a national channel yet...he also told me that vandy and mtsu r only separated by about 35 miles, good rivalry situation...i will not play this game because i will not go against my friend and his team, but if i was to play it i would be on mtsu +16.5...this is not a marquis game so maybe no one cares about this stuff i just wanted to relay my info just in case someone was interested in this game...good luck if u play mtsu, i just want vandy 5-0 next week when i head down there...thanx boiseboy...

i agree with your freind i think vandy will be looking for lsu....they almost missed up against ol miss...gl i would like to see them 5-0 up against lsu that would be a great game..

Exactly Frank. I'm sure all you Vandy fans wouldn't mind seeing them win by say 10 points. That plus 16.5 for MTST is now only plus 14. Someone must have been listening to Boiseboy's call. I think even at +14 MTST is worth a small play.

I went to vandy, leave it to MTSU to beat us. They always play us tough, and Murfreesboro isn't just 35 miles away, it's practically a Nashville suburb, with people commuting each way. Big game... I only picked vandy to win. D'oh!!!
