On a bit of a bad streak as of late.
A fade may be the order of the day....
So here goes.......
Miami O -10 over Cinci
Cinci was tooth and nail to beat IAA West Carolina 7-3 last out. WC actually had more yardage even after the 3 interceptions. WC had a TD called back as a result of a holding penalty and was intercepted on the very next play.
The 24 put up by the 'Cats vs. Penn St. is also a deceiving number. Cincy scored 2 touches in the final 2 minutes when the game had already been decided. Cincy starts 5 freshmen on D and has played as many as 20 freshmen this year. They are the youngest team in NCAAF.
The trends do point Cincy's way. The underdog has covered 5 of the last 6 and 8 of the last 11.
A trend is your friend but a trend must end.
Miami O is playing with revenge as they were a 3' point fav and lost outright 45-26 last year. That is why the original -14 caught my eye, so I feel there is a bit of value here also.
This is a huge rivalry game, one of the oldest in NCAAF so if Miami has the chance to run up the score I do believe they will.
Also Cincy has their first Big East Game EVER up next.
I do feel pretty good about this one as you can tell from the LOOOONG write up.
