I jumped all over the Cubs Under 9.5. Winds blowing in from left 20-30 mph and Prior and Maholm is a good pitching matchup.
PIT: Maholm (2-1, 2.08)
CHC: Prior (11-6, 3.73)

You're not starting any trouble Ki66. I appreciate you making sure the information is correct. It be shitty if someone made a bet based on wrong information I supplied. I got my facts from the site below. I hope mine is right because I already made a big bet.....I would still like the Under if the winds are blowing out slightly
Well it looks more than likely Sportnetwork had wrong info. But I don't give a shit, they still have to hit the ball out of the park and this IS the Pirates and the Cubs. Prior isn't chopped liver against the Pirates....He's dominated Pittsburgh during his career, going 6-0 with a 2.48 ERA in 10 starts. And Maholm certainly has a young strong arm. He's 23 and still in diapers....So fuck the weather reports
It looks like the wind will be blowing out to right for the first 6-7 innings or so, then it will start coming in from left at a good clip around the 8th. My guess is that Prior and Maholm can keep the ball off the good part of the bat for the early part of the game and the wind will help the bullpens late in the game.
Be very careful here. The wind will be blowing out to right when the game starts at 2:20 Chicago time but by 3:00 the wind will have already shifted and will be blowing from left to right with rain showers. By 4:00, probally around the 5th or 6th inning, the wind will have shifted again and will be BLOWING IN FROM LEFT AT 22 MPH with rain showers for the rest of the game. What will happen is that the wind blows out before the rain starts and then shifts to start blowing in when it's raining. If you like the Over, I would just play it for the first 5 innings but would play Under for the full game.
