Toledo is expected to unleash Scooter McDougle when they take on Fresno State as 12 1/2-point underdogs tonight.

The Rockets junior tailback rushed for 620 yards on 146 attempts last year (4.2 per), notched seven majors, and was considered the driving force behind the team’s MAC Championship. A knee injury he suffered in Toledo’s final game of 2004 kept him out of the first three games, but the Cleveland Plain Dealer reports that he’s ready to play against the Bulldogs.

Rushing defense has been a weak point for Fresno State this season. The squad`s currently allowing 118.5 yards on the ground per game.
