Well L.S.U. really pulled off a stinker last night. I'll never figure out why coaches when they have teams on the ropes go into a shell and play not to lose. Oh well that's over with.
Tonight we have to high powered offenses with theToledo Rockets and Fresno St. Bulldogs. Fresno is another place that will be tough to win at as the people in the Central Valley just looks forward to Bulldog football or Bulldog anthing going on there.
Two top notched Q.B's facing each other this evening.....But the status on Bruce Gradkowski is questionable as of right now and a game time decision. Paul Pinegar is a proven Q.B. as he was 9 - 3 as a starter last year and lead them to a bowl win over Virginia. The Bulldogs also have a trio of running backs who was near 1,000 yards a peice rushing the ball.
Wendell Mathis a UCLA transfer,Dwayne Wright originally signed by Washington St.but ended up in a JUCO in 2002 rushing for 1,068 yards.
Toledo returns also a quality running back in Scooter McDougle but he's a bit banged up and question to probable this evening.
Toledo has put up some big numbers so far but the talent they face tonight is nowhere near what the Bulldogs have.
Toledo is 3 - 0 beating the likes of W. Illinois, W. Michigan , Temple.
Fresno is 1 - 1 beating Weber St. and Losing to Oregon 10 days ago by 3 37 -34.
The Rockets are 1 - 7 before a bye...which they have next week.
Freson St. is 1 - 5 before a bye which they have next week.
These numbers don't favor either one........But my pick tonight is:
FRESNO ST. - 13. 5 ( 4 UNITS )
TOLEDO/FRESNO ST. - UNDER 64.0 ( 4 UNITS )
