Haven't been posting MLB lately since it's harder to find good games to bet on since some teams have clinched and the teams that are out of it will play their AAA callups, too unpredicable. Trying to find games where both teams are playing for something. POD record is 52-48-3 (+$34.14 if bet $100 on each POD). Here is what I like today, hope it's not a trap:
Angels (+110) Don't know why Angels are dogs here, Lackey is good on the road going 7-2 with a 3.26 era in 17 road starts this year. Lackey is 2-0 with a 3.31 era last 5 outings. Lackey has pitched good against the A's going 5-1 with 3.27 era in 12 career starts. Angels have been hot going 8-2 last 10 and hit righties well going 66-41 against RHP. Angels are also 4-1 in Lackey's last 5 starts. Blanton has pitched well against the Angels but is 0-2 with 2.05 era, Blanton is also 6-4 with 3.44 era at home. These are good numbers for Blanton, but not enough to make Angels a dog. We'll see what happens.
