Just a horrible 0-3 day yesterday as I watched both Indy and Tampa take knees to run out the game when a score would have given us a cover. But thats the way it goes sometimes, time to get back on track, these are my plays for Monday night....
NCAA Football
5 STAR: Tennessee (+7)(-$120) OVER LSU
(Line from BetJamacia on 9/26)
This should be a very close game and I think LSU is laying way too many points. The Tigers have only played one game this season and they escaped with a tough win at Arizona State. ASU was able to move the ball at will against the Tigers and I like the move by Tennessee to go with Eric Ainge at quarterback. He will be able to move the ball against an LSU that struggled against the Sun Devils. On the other side of the ball LSU has a great offense, but the Tennessee defense is a pretty good unit and they did a nice job against the high powered Florida offense in their loss last week. Tennessee is 19-8 against the spread after two or more consecutive losses against the spread since 1992 and LSU is only 13-27 against the spread in home games after playing their last game on the road since 1992. I'll by the half point to be safe, but I think someone wins this game by a field goal!
2005/2006 NCAA FOOTBALL RECORD
5 STAR RECORD 2-2 (-1.00 UNITS)
3 STAR RECORD 5-3 (+5.10 UNITS)
2 STAR RECORD 2-1 (+1.80 UNITS)
1 STAR RECORD 3-2 (+0.80 UNITS)
OVERALL RECORD 12-8 (+6.70 UNITS)
A $100 player would up $670
NFL
1 STAR: DENVER (-3)(+$105) OVER Kansas City
(Line from BetJamacia on 9/26)
This is by no means a strong play. This is a gut feeling play. Denver has looked unimpressive in their first two games of the season while the Chiefs look like a true Super Bowl contender, but something tells me that the Broncos will cover this game. They are 2-0 against the spread in the last two meetings with the Chiefs that were played in Denver, winning both by double digits. I'll make a small play on them here as well. Lay the points!
2005/2006 NFL RECORD
5 STAR RECORD 2-1 (+4.50 UNITS)
3 STAR RECORD 2-4 (-7.50 UNITS)
2 STAR RECORD 0-0 (+0.00 UNITS)
1 STAR RECORD 1-1 (-0.10 UNITS)
OVERALL RECORD 5-6 (-3.10 UNITS)
A $100 player would down $310
