Well its safe to say I wasnt the only one who took a bath yesterday , but 7 - 11 wasnt my idea of a cake walk ! There where some outright lack of baseball from the hitters standpoint yesterday for some fine efforts on the mound by several pitchers , oh well " Mama said there would be days like that "

what does everyone think of the over in the phillies-rockies game. over 8.5. winds blowing from l-r at 10-15. game time temp at around 60? i like the over here. before i play i would like thoughts on it.

thanks MM went ahead and played it along w/ cubs-A'S parlay. learned my lesson yesterday when i almost took the M'S. but listened to others and didnt play it. sometimes you win and sometimes you lose! I can see a 6-4 type game. neither pitcher is overpowering today. lots of great hitters, too. LEFTHANDED AT THAT.

Did you ever think maybe the Bucs logo can bring back luck. JUST KIDDING...I'm sorry, I just can't stand the Bucs...Congrats to being the Super Bowl champs, but I didn't like the way they treated Dungy...just my opinion...I know Gruden is great...but, that was Dungy's DEFENSE



***If you're a Tampa Lightening fan, CONGRATS to them....what a gutsy performance coming from down 2-0....Im in Washington for many months (not a big Caps fan), but I couldn't believe how Tampa adjusted to slow down Jagrs line....I still feel that the Senators are just to good for anyone...Even if they face Dallas in the Cup finals, I think Ottawa can beat them in 5....they are soooooooooo good...Philly might give them a few fits and then eventually the talent, youth, and speed will take over...plus itll be great for hockey to see a small market chapter 11 team like the Sens win it all...Good luck on your games tonight

I to thought the ousting and the way it was handled of Dungy was in very bad taste ! And Im all over the Senators to win it all also .

And a big no to the logo reference , it has to be the best one they ever had , " look what happened " my first taste of a championship at last ! My deceased husband was a union ironworker in Tampa years back and he helped build the 1st. stadium , we have been season ticket holders since day 1 and my loyalty to them has been undying ever since.

The Bolts could be a sleeper here , I like thier chances to give the Devils all they can handle , all though they havent paid thier dues yet such as suffering a year or two of being very close to winning it all as most teams have to go through , they could be one of those who just skate right to the top ? " Who Knows "

You asked the other day if I lived in Fla. , alas no I dont , I moved up to Wisconsin in 1982 and now reside on beautiful Geneva Lake in Fontana , but being in the greyhound business has no doubt that I have VERY strong ties in Fla. and tons of family there . We moved down there from West Virgina in 1946 and I attended the 1st. grade there that year [ yes Im a senior citizen ] I have brothers that enforce the law down there in Orlando and Jaxsonville , plus a sister that is with the states attorney`s office in Tampa , plus many many cousins and so on .

It is with deep regrets that your post to me , of my posting in your threads the other day doesnt seem to coincide with your schedule as well as mine , as a matter of fact , Im very suprised to see you up and about so early today , because you usually dont show up till minutes [ self addmitted ] before most games but we will cross paths anyway , Im sure !

Meanwhile thanks again for your time and keep up the good work as well , Ive grown fond of having my hands in pockets that dont belong to me [ bookies ]

Yesterday proved to be a bit of a tusssel although I did manage to break even on the day due to the Atlanta play which I also liked. As I mentioned before I live on the Monterey Peninsula where golf is many persons pasttime favorite. I dont get much time for that because of other commitments but hope to do more if I can afford to retire here? Right now making a living in this high cost area proves to be very Challenging in itself. The reason I bring this up is because I remember you mentioning how golf can be a cash cow. Please explain, and are you still sitting on the sidelines @ this point in time. I know you share different insights with this board and was wondering what you feel about todays card. I have a rare day off due to weather and saw you making a rare early appearence. Did you get my response on how you can e-mail myself? All the Best!! hc
