Army?

They have looked like a high school team. Can anybody give me a reason to take army other than homer likes them. Which buy the way is the only reason I am questioning this. I thought this game should be a route.

Iowa St.

I have the same question. I am taking Iowa St. and laying the points. The only thing I can think of is the home field ad.

I also teased it down with Michigan St. on Sat @ Illinois (they barelly beat Rutgers - that's tells me enough)

Iowa State is rarely a road favorite. The last time was last season. They were a 6.5 favorite at Baylor. They won 26-25. The previous time was the 2001 season.

Army does fairly well as a home dog. Last season they were 3-1 as a DD home dog.

In general the public doesn't like big dogs. The easy bet is Iowa St minus the points. The balsy bet is Army + the points.

yet the line hasn't moved....actualy a little movement 17 to 18.....Not very significant with 80%on Iowa St....Others say 85 % on Iowa St....Line moves just one point....I teased Iowa St and Cal(7 pt)....kapt
