can't remember if this has ever happen but to have a doubleheader on MNF is certainly rare. Then again the Casino's and Book Makers are probably eating it up knowing theres just more the one game to bet on.
Well this has been a great weekend and its only appropiate to end it on a high note......
GAME ONE-
NEW ORLEANS SAINTS + 3.5 ( 3 Units )
SAINTS- 6 - 1 ATS off S/U Dog Win / 1 - 4 on MNF ( This game should have been played on Sunday ) Am going to disregard this stat.
GIANTS- 7 - 2 - 1 ATS L/10 vs. Opp off ATS win / 10 - 2 ATS after they score 35 or more pts. / 8 - 2 ATS when o/u line is 42 or more pts.
Call me nuts but am having the same feeling i did with the Bear game here. This Saint team just beat Carolina on the road last week. While the Giants put up 42 pts aganist the charitable Cards. Turnovers, short field and giveaways made the giants win a gift. This win by the giants wasn't so impressive as the 9ers win over the Rams were.
My feeling here is this year's this Saint team is playing with a higher power and is watching over them after all this team and city has been thru...
The numbers and trends point to the Giants but i'll go with the saints and the better QB leading his team tonight........
GAME TWO-
DALLAS COWBOYS - 5.5 ( 4 UNITS )
WASHINGTON - 1 - 6 L/7 away games / 2 - 14 on MNF / 1 - 7 ATS away before bye week.
DALLAS- 6 - 1 ATS HF's 6 or more pts. / 4 - 1 ATS after S/U away win vs.non-conf opp.
Nice comeback victory displayed by these cowboys last weekend in San Diego. As the skins barely squeaked out a 2 pt win against the Bears.
History points to the cowboys as the Skins have never played well on MNF and the Tuna would love nothing better then starting off the season 2 - 0 before heading on a 2 game road trip to the bay area to San Fran and Oakland. If the Cowboys aren't looking ahead to whats in store they could be 4 - 0 coming back home to face the Eagles.....I think the Tuna will have his boys focused on the skins fully here. Take the Cowboys to continue its domination of the Skins.
Tomorrow i'll comeback with the totals on this game and see how it moves but i'll give you this for right now before it does move aganist us....
