This is taken from my series in college basketball where we were really successful..........you guys know i NEVER make excuses but i think i was brain dead with my picks in the last 2 weeks and although i won with the ever so annoying GOM, everything has been less than average.........put a lot more thought into it this week and i feel very good about these
10* Louisville (-14) vs oregon state--->here is thinking louisville is a legit top 10 team and oregon state was less than impressive last week playing a boise team totally deflated....long trip from oregon to lousville might resemble that trip boise took to georgia
10* Auburn (-36.5) vs Ball state---->ball state is probably not going to score and auburn still angry about loss to georgia tech......auburn is probably a little better than people think and all we need them to do here is try (see iowa vs ball state )
10* Pitt (+9.5) at Nebraska --->(might want to buy to 10 while you still can) Ok, dave wannstedt is probably the worst coach in organized sports history.....offhand, the only 2 that may be worse are that john blake dude that coached oklahoma and les steckel, that marine who coached the vikings and wore camouflage to practice ( i think they went 1-12 or something under him).....with all that said, nebraska did not play that great 1st time out vs maine and then played a sleeping wake forest team off loss at home to vandy........pitt was shocked by obviously very good notre dame team and then frank solich outcoached flat pitt lasdt week......take wannastedt out of the equation and assume the players themselves will get up for a game and probably the talent disparity here is small...........
