Lost yesterday on the Twins, Liriano looked good yesterday but bottom line is Twins can't hit. POD record is now 50-45-3 (+$126.14 if bet $100 on each POD). Here is my POD for today:
Braves (+108) Sosa has been great on the road this year going 8-0 with a 1.71 era in 24 appearances this year. As a starter on the road, Sosa is 6-0 with a 1.56 era in 10 starts with opponents batting average at.204 on the road. Braves are 9-1 in Sosa's last 10 starts. Myers hasn't been that good lately going 2-2 with a 4.67 era in last 7 starts which includes giving up 8 homers. One stat against us is Phillies are 9-3 in Myers last 12 starts. However, with Sosa on the road and Braves hoping to avoid the sweep, this game has good value as the Braves aren't dogs too often.
