I agree, I loved the 8 o'clock start time a couple of years ago. These games end way too late. The Sunday night games go too late too.

I agree about McNabb's play, he had many chances to the run the ball for positive yards but chose to throw into coverage.

When McNabb took a helmet to his chest, that was it for him the rest of the game. You could see him cringe with every throw. But I would still take him at 50% than Detmer at 100%. And my money was on Philly tonight. As for games running so late, that's to make up for us on the West Coast when college games start as early as 9 AM here and the Pro games at 10. But you are right Frank. The games need to start an hour eariler. I never figured out the TV rational of starting the games at 9 instead of 8. They may say that they are waiting for people on the West Coast to get home from work first, but there are more people watching on the East Coast, who go to sleep before the game ends. Only us degenerite gamblers will watch till 1 AM.

Most Sunday games take 3 hours. Monday games on average take 3:30. ABC adds 30 minutes of commercials.
