First of all, did BamaBoy just nail a 8-teamer??? WOW, nice job buddy!
Secondly - LSU played sloppy, but in the end they won... and that's what counts. Just like the opener last year, they squeaked it out, but will have to tighten up when it comes to SEC play.
If anyone got a chance to watch the postgame wrapup.... for once they nailed it.... That is exactly what the people down in LA needed. After the cane and the panic had set in and the main problems had subsided... the help had arrived... and the levee was dammed.... we'd sit at night and listen to WWL 870 AM and talk.... that's all we wanted... get back to normalicy (sp?). To sit down and watch a good football game... watch one of our teams prevail.... a 3 hour period where no one had to worry about when your next meal was going to be.... when were you going to be able to wash up just a little... hauling trees.... clearing streets... or anything else that we had to endure for a while. THAT IS EXACTLY WHAT THE PEOPLE OF NEW ORLEANS, BATON ROUGE, AND ALL OF SOUTHEAST LOUISIANA NEEDED. And I'd like to personally say Thank You LSU..... thank you for the 3 hours of the sereal, dream world that all of us were longing to watch.... a small victory for LSU, but a huge win and a great lift of spirits for the people as a community. We can win on the field and in the end, we'll prevail off the field as well.
