I think an interesting topic to discuss is the amount of games we bet and how to better prepare ourselves to win long term. I know some very good capper bet multiple games with different ratings on each. HOwever, it is my experience that betting one game a day, maybe two if sports overlap is the best way to win long term. I am getting the feeling that people are betting 5-6 games a day, and that is too much. You can limit the amount of juice and be profitable with one strong play. if you want to play Multiple games, for the action, play them for 10 bucks. Most successful gamblers I know play about 10 games a week max. It was a tough lesson to learn, but since I have limited my games I have done very well. I know RJ, Wayne and Homer play multiple games and win long term, they are the minority....It comes down to exposure to risk, like another investment vechicle. Take it for what it is worth. I posted an income money management guide a few months back, and with that and limiting my plays, I am seeing a very nice profit. Good luck to everyone...

    Hey Fatman,
Would you mind sharing some of your daily picks. I go with the same technique and normally do well with it. It would be nice to match my daily picks up with someone elses. Thanks for the info and write up!
    5* 0-0
    4* 0-0
    3* 1-0
    2* 1-0
    1* 0-1

I agree! Limit your plays, and pick your spots.. That is exactly why I am on a 21-2 MLB Run.. I only do 1 play a day, pick my spots and don't force plays.. That along with good capping will have you on top every time!

I disagree! If you can hit 54% of your games with proper money management you will win. I truly believe most BC member can hit 54%. Money management is what doom most sport bettors.

At 54% you'll win more money betting 100 games than 20 games.

But if you do not bet 100 games your winning percentage will be great than 54%. Picking spots you can hit much higher and for larger amounts than spreading over smaller plays....Most will nickle and dime to death, but if you can do it, good luck....

Fats---appreciate your input...But the Old Kaptain plays em as he sees em....1 or 10 a day....The hardest thing for me to do is to like 10 games, play the 3 I like best, and go 7-3....Yeh you guessed it, the 3 I lost were the 3 I played.....Each to his own, but I'm one person, the more I play, the better I do....

It's only because everytime I extract 1-3 games, as my best, they lose and I have a handful of "shoulda played" games....

If it works for you, and you're able to extract the 1 good game, and be a winner, I'm glad for ya....I can't now, and never have been able to do it...

              Best to ya my man---kapt

If one can be more selective that's great. I agree with Karl. I try not to cherry pick my own capped games. When I did it often seemed the games I didn't play WON.

Do you think a player who's more selective will hit better than 60%? I don't.
