Nascar Matchups YTD 18-16 -.25 units Last week 2-3 -.70 units

Chevy Rock and Roll 400 at Richmond International Speedway

1* Jeff Gordon -155 over Kasey Kahne
The #24 team comes in here in 12th place in the standings 30 points behind that crucial 10th spot for the Chase. I look for the #24 team to rise to the occasion tonight and put together a strong run. Gordon was the 10th fastest in practice compared to 11th for Kahne. Gordon starts 6th while Kahne is in the 14th spot. Kahne found victory lane here in the spring for his 1st ever Nextel Cup victory. In his previous 2 starts here though he never finished better than 24th. Gordon has had good success here over his career and I look for the #24 team to step it up tonight.

1* Dale Jr. +120 over Rusty Wallace
The #8 team has unloaded and ran shitty at just about every track this season. With that being said, they have come away with a few good finishes this season. Jr. officially fell out of contention for the Chase last week and I think that relieves some pressure. Jr. has been good here at Richmond collecting his 2nd ever Nextel Cup Victory here in the spring of 2000. He was runner up here at this event last year to Jeremy Mayfield and has taken the checkers in front of Rusty Wallace 4 straight times and 7 out of the last 10 races here at Richmond.

1* Bobby Labonte +115 over Ricky Rudd
Bobby Labonte starts 23rd and ran 23 fastest in practice. Rudd starts 16th after running 14th fastest in practice. Labonte has finished in front of Rudd in the last 4 races here at this racetrack with 2nd, 3rd, 8th, and 16th place finishes. The #18 team has done a good job taking horrible racecars and getting some decent finishes these past couple weeks. They have a better car this weekend and I look for them to make some good adjustments and for Labonte to have a good run tonight.

1* Jeremy Mayfield +115 over Kevin Harvick
Jeremy Mayfield starts 10th tonight compared to Harvick sitting on the Bud Pole. Harvick was 9th fastest in practice compared to Harvick running 18th. Mayfield is the defending champion of this race and has had some success here over the years. Harvick on the other hand has struggled to only 3 top 10 finishes in 8 races here. Mayfield is solidly in the Chase needing only a 39th place finish or better to clinch for the Chase. The #19 team tested here earlier and tested a new chassis along with the chassis they won here with and said the new one is faster. They are running a new chassis tonight and I look for good results.

                Good luck everybody!

GL Kb!!! I am on all those now except for the Mayfield one.
Going against my Harvick pick huh? ....i like your reasoning... starting to second guess myself. Originally I had heard rumors of a Harvick resurgence about to occur, and then lo and behold he has the pole and busch win last night. Jumping on the bandwagon, hpoe it doesn't set afire. Good luck!!! To the victor, the spoils!!!!!

5-3 for a +1.7 units yesterday in college foots brings me to 15-9 +6.1 units YTD.
The damn #24 car sucks ass in the final race before the chase so I go 2-2 -.25 units to take my YTD to 20-18 for -.50 units.
