Lakers were easy money and the public wins and Orlando was just as easy. Hope you didn't get sucked in to the Minn. trap.

                Wayne...

After the Lakers fiasco, I'd like to hear your thinking on New Orleans. I think Kenny Thomas is the x factor. He was on the brink of being an all-star before he was pushed out of Houston to make way for the younger guys. I know the Hornets are road warriors, but Philly finally played as a team in their last outing against Washington, albeit was against the Cheese Wizs. If Keith Van Horn attacks the basket like he did in that game, this could be an easy win for the Sixers. It's almost impossible to read where the public stands, the line opened at -4.5 then ballooned all the way to -5.5 before coming back down to -4.5. I have a feeling the linesmakers were pulling a fast one on the Lakers game and the public was actually on Minnesota. They knew if they made the line higher (-6,-6.5) it would attract pretty much equal money but if they made it lower, then they could get morons like myself questioning whether or not the Lakers are prepared for the playoffs. This line on the other hand seems too high, almost if Vegas is trying to attract New Orleans money. Just some thoughts. thanks for any input and if you think I'm thinking into it too much, then I probably need a lobotomy. later

                  Jake

N.O. honestly was my favorite of the 3 before the games started but who knows i didn't have the best year in the NBA i just think there are more players on a Hornets team with Mashburn and i love Baron Davis plus i question the health of a couple Sixers. You sound like your trying to out think yourself again because i think even if Philly does win it will go down to the wire and they are only 11-25 ATS as a home Favorite. Magloire and his young legs in the middle might make a difference here as well. GOOD LUCK !:D

Looking ahead until tomorrow, big lines in NBA-I guess thinking is San Antonio and Pacers will be pissed off over losing on Saturday.
I bet public will be on all three favorites.
If things go the crazy way they usually do, one favorite will win and cover, 1 favorite will and not cover and 1 favorite will lose straightup.
Above is just gut perception at the moment.
Go to work guys-its too tough for me to figure out.
