UNLV/N. Mexico UNDER 46.5
Last year UNLV stunk on offense, stunk on defense.... they just stunk period. New uniforms and a new coach won't change things when the personnel is the same. They will struggle to score points today. New Mexico is no offensive juggernut relying on the superb running of Dontrelle Moore. More will not be 100% today after an ACL injury in their bowl game last year. New Mexico does play solid defense finishing in the top 30 in the country last year. I expect their defense to make things difficult on UNLV's putride offense and their running game to chew clock w/ long drives making the UNDER a solid play.
Memphis -3
This will be a long year for Ole' Miss. They are not good on either side of the ball. The only thing keeping this line low is that Memphis must replace starting QB Wimprine and 4 of 5 starting offensive linemen. They still have the best RB in the country in DeAngelo Williams and that alone will be enough to cover here on the home opener against a struggling Ole' Miss. program. The UNDER 48 on this game also looks to be a solid play.
