  • NCAA Football Pick for Monday

    7-7-0 (+1.03 units)

    9/5

    Miami @ Florida St. UNDER 39.5 (-111) 2**

This is my favorite rivalry in college football. The talent on the field in this game always makes it a great one to watch. Both defenses are stacked with future NFL players, especially at LB. This game will be a back and forth dogfight with both teams struggling to sustain drives. Miami QB Kyle Wright is a sophomore in his first season as a starter, and FSU QB Drew Weatherford is a redshirt freshman set to make his college debut. Talk about pressure. The UNDER was 6-1-1 in Florida St.'s ACC games in 2004, and is 25-12-1 in all FSU games since 2002. Florida St. and Miami have played 4 times in the last 3 years (including the 2004 Orange Bowl) with Miami winning all 4 times by an average margin of 4.25 points. Last year's game was won by the Hurricanes 16-10, in overtime. All 4 of those games have gone UNDER the posted total.

    Good luck today guys!

                  Adding one play

                  9/5

                  Ole Miss +3 (+101) @ Memphis 1*

Ole Miss has won 7 of their last 8 opening games and will be looking to avenge an opening day loss to Memphis last year in this one. New Rebels Head Coach Ed Orgeron was the defensive line coach at USC last year and he is expected to put great emphasis on a defense that is returning 7 starters from 2004. They should give new Memphis QB Patrick Byrne fits in this one.

I had been giving this play a lot of thought, and when I saw it on Rip's Fade Plays I knew it was the way to go so thanks Rip!

                  Good luck guys!

                      Nice Week 1

A perfect day going 2-0 (+3.00 units) allows me to finish the first week of college football at 9-7-0 (+4.03 units).

I see a HUGE play on the card in college football this weekend and I will also post all my plays for the first week of NFL action.

I hope you all had successful opening weekends as well!
