300- Kansas State - 33
Homers big play goes as a big play here as well. I stuck 500 on it. But it is rated a 300 play. I just happen to like Homer.
It looks solid. I believe Kansas State gets much attention this year.
Personally- I don't see much in this Fla International Team
except the QB. Big deal 12 touchdowns last year- Avg just over 1 touchdown thrown per game. Running against the bigger line of K State- priceless value here folks- don't let this one get away. Remember how defensive this KSU team is most every year. Defensive coaches are born there and move to Florida to coach here. Stoops (now Head Coach at OK and Leveritt at Univ of So. Fla) are two of the best to have graced the campus.
FLA INTERNATIONAL: Don’t make the mistake of grouping Florida Atlantic and Florida International together, as Atlantic far more ready for the step to the next level in college football. In fact, this is only the fourth full season FIU will be playing football. In the previous three years, the Golden Panthers have won a total of 10 games. Conversely, FAU has won an average of 10 games in each of the last two years. Former Dolphin QB Don Strock leads this team as it heads into its first year at the full Div1-A level. The schedule gets started with a bang as back-to-back trips into Big 12 country await. On a good note, 18 starters return, nine on each side of the ball. The clear leader on the field is QB Josh Padrick, a junior who threw for 2,269 yards and 12 TD’s a year ago. Don’t look for this team to make a whole lot of noise in 2005, as FIU was 0-3 in 2004 against Div 1-A opponents.
