1.this is the biggest game in boises history...been counting it down since the loisville lost...they want to prove they can play with the big boys...there first three games are at georgia,at oregon state and home against bowling green...if they can get by those 3 there on there way to being the utah of 2005 and a bcs bowl...georgia plays big games all the time, this is only boises 3rd game in 9 years where both teams r ranked top 25...
2.head coach DAN HAWKINS could of gone 2 a bigger school in the winter but chose to stay here...this is the type of schedule he wants...his motto "BIGGER ISN'T BETTER, BETTER IS BETTER"...
3.the hype machine that is ESPN luvs boise state...they r on espn as often as notre dame is on NBC...they need a bcs buster to hype all year, can not count louisville since they r in big east...
4.true stud qb in JARED ZABRANSKY 16 throwing 13 rushing last year...heisman hopefull in 2006 (2005 if he wins first 3 games)...
5.boise return 9 on offense and 8 on defense...an offense that scored 49 pts per game last year...and a defense that always comes up with the big play when they need 2...
6.georgia returns 7 offense and 7 defense...but lost there 6 best players to NFL...DAVID GREEN,FRED GIBSON,DAVID POLLACK,THOMAS DAVIS,ODELL THURMAN, i can't think of the other one right now...
7.georgia has an unproven qb in D.J. SHOCKLEY...
8.georgia 3-8 ats last 13 home openers...
9.boise under hawkins is 4-0 ats against non conf. teams as a dog....
