  • Vegas Casino Lines?

I'm going to Vegas this weekend with the lady and some of our friends. How much do the lines vary from casino to casino? Is there a "Pinny" of Casinos? I'll be staying at the Mirage, so if all else fails, I'll probably just use their book...

Geeze, I'm going to Vegas and going to be doing the same thing I do from my desk everyday at work... With the exception of drinking, playing poker, looking at fine breezies... ok so it won't be the same...

Thanks for the help guys. Good luck today and lets start this college football season off on the right foot!

Mirage IMO has the best sportsbook on the strip. Free drinks good atmosphere and solid lines.

yea, he bets me on the Phillies game, when it's tied going into the 12th inning!

Caesar's is the best sports book IMO. Tons of TV's and lots of room

I didn't get a chance to check Wynn out last time I was out there. Might be going back in October. Any good night clubs in Wynn?

Thanks guys! Well I'm staying at the Mirage, so I'll probably spend the most time there, but I definately want to check out the Wynn. If I make it over there I'll give you guys a report.

                            Hey Ki66,
not to step on anyone's toes, but all those sportsbooks are about the same (from what I can tell), mirage, mandalay bay, bellagio... big, with lots of massive TVs, drinks. No ladies (but you've already got that covered). i was visiting a friend out there who lives in the LV area recently, an unhappily-singly bachelorette, who went with me to a few of the different sportsbooks out there. She remarked, "So that's where all the guys are! (to pick up, you see)". You know that Chris Rock joke about girls who are only our friends? Well, indeed, Chris Rock is a prophet of sorts.
Not sure why I wrote all that, just thought it was interesting.
But back to the issue at hand, I usually choose the casino I play at based on their poker room more than anything (or lower limit craps, god I'm such a low roller). As for poker, It doesn't get better than the mirage, but all of them are nice now I hear. The problem with the higher end casinos is that you've got bigger money games than I'm used to playing (i think the wynn starts at 4/8 limit). So if you don't feel too dirty putting down bets at the four queens on fremont (just a dude and a dry erase board) but love the poker at Binions, then you've got your answer!
                            Have fun! I'm jealous!
