Rams @ Lions-- Detroit has Super Bowl this year, and a rare Monday night home game, even in August, should bring out enthusiasm in Motor City club that made Trent Dilfer look like Sonny Jurgensen in home loss to Browns last week. Detroit has weapons on offense, but not very good defense. They also have Torry Holt's brother and Dre Bly, an ex-Ram, so this probably means more to host

Martz Madness will put two TDs on board, but then the backup QBs will play, including Smoker, a Michigan St guy, and there will be dropoff. Martz might not know the score (I'm not joking), he might onside kick at any time, and he really doesn't try to win these games, which is no big deal, although not knowing the score is a red flag.

Week 4 preseason games are so incredibly meaningless, and coached so timidly by most teams. Please, for the love of God, go wager on college football or baseball or horse racing or the CFL. Hell, invest in Laimbeer's team in the WNBA playoffs. Do not invest cash on games that no one cares about, not even the participants.
