Went 2-1 yesterday, hitting the banger play!!!!!
2:05 Playing the Tigers/Red Sox over 10 1/2 -1.25 for 3 units; Boston has gone over every home game in August. Wells is 1-3 with a 9.89 ERA in 5 daytime starts and opposing hitters have a .426 batting average in those 5 games. Robertson is 1-4 with a 5.15 ERA in 6 daytime starts.
4:05 Playing the Giants -1.10 for 3 units; Benson has lost 7 of 8 career starts vs Giants. The Mets are just 4-11 away vs lefties this year. Lowry comes into todays game off a complete game shutout of Phillies. He has won his last 4 starts while allowing just 2 earned runs in 31 innings pitched. To me, he is one hell of a pitcher playing on a bad team.
8:05 Playing the Phillies -1.42 for 5 units; If I were to put out a banger play today, this would be it!!!!!! The Phillies have won every series but 1 since the All Star Break and Padilla has been throwing quality starts of late.
