All the innings that the Nats' ace has pitched might be catching up to him. In his last 3 starts, he has allowed 22 hits in 16 innings and has an ERA of 8.44. This is a tough lineup for Livan to face today as Ken Griffey, Austin Kearns, Felipe Lopez and Sean Casey are all .400 or better career hitters against him. The Reds starter Claussen is 2-0 with an ERA of 2.75 in his last 3 starts and should get it done here against the Nats. The Reds are also seven games over .500 this year when playing day games. Looks like a live dog!
