thanks for everyone being so nice to my first post yesterday...
In an effort to contribute, I wanted to post something good for you guys. Everyone's got much better picks than I do for major league baseball (In fact, I should post all my picks, which if properly faded would have a massive win record. ) Having that said, I would like to suggest one pick,

Davenport (Iowa) -130 Little League World Series (1/2 unit)

These kids are good, and I'm gonna take the country fed kids over the newtown disappointments. It starts at 5:00, sorry for the lateness of this post.

I am a degenerate aren't I? The phrase, "Betting on children" does have an unseemly ring to it, I must admit. I apologize and promise to restrict my betting to 16 and up from now on. Except for the annual spelling bee. I won a lot of money on this year's spelling bee (props on winner's gender (boy), from a red or blue state (blue), and whether the winning word would be over 9 letters(appoggiatura, which I believe was also the kids last name).

Thanks for the words of ecouragement guys,
the game doesn't start till 8:00 pm tonight, I was mistaken, the early play was powerhouse West Oahu of Ewa Beach, Hawai 'i trouncing on the formidable Maitland Florida 10 to nothing (didn't get that one in). Of course, I'm not totally sold on Davenport Iowa myself tonight, as I think the easy money may be on the later games (Canada over Russia, no lines yet), Newtown's got a semi-homefield advantage, but the coaches son/starting shortstop Ryan Hartley "was trying to fake a bunt (aug 21st) when the pitch hit a knuckle on his right hand...his son's knuckle may be broken." There's blood in the water, and the sharks may be feeding tonight! Anyway, both teams haven't been dramatically awesome, but Iowa can produce runs, and were close to winning against florida and they're hungry for the win now. It's only 1/2 unit, so either way, we'll look for our money back.
