  • Spear-it Monday Totals

I like these picks and I hit a 200 on the Under Sunday with Atlant/SD. We have had several awesome weeks of 12 units and last week with 19 units and we will again. Lets get these winners today.

    100-TB/Cleveland Under 9
Both pitchers have been strong lately and 9 is high.

    300 Philly/SF Under 8
Starting Pitching is strong. Both pitchers have pitched well lately. Runs against been in the 2s for both pitchers last 3 games.

spearit. Congratulations on your best week yet. I thought I saw somewhere in one of your threads that you were thinking of waiting until football before posting anymore totals. Was that you? We all hope you don't stop a good thing.

Thanx all- Sandman--What I said was that I wanted to concentrate on football this year as I am excited about my teams here in Fla. Serving two masters (bases and football) doesn't allow much time to enjoy the games because 1) capping both areas is very time consuming 2) thinking about the other games - if one needs more runs and another less points on the board and have this in your head -x3 doesn't sound like a good scenario 3) time in posting and answering 4) the biggy- less time with the Mrs who incidentally tried to pull the plug on my comcast internet from last week- sheesh - I intercepted the call by accident when I picked up her cell phone by mistake. So I figured I needed to concentrate on football which was less taxing on a daily basis. With that I will post when I can for bases. Hope that answers Sandman.

Good Luck to all today. Remember to keep amounts low each week and build on confidence. Such as I have - lets say 1200 in my account for betting. I do not not ever want to go past 400 until I have built up from wins each week. 1/4 betting for the day max. This way percentages will work in your favor. A couple of down days doesn't chew up your bankroll and the confidence you get when you have consistent good weeks is amazing. You sleep better and you get along better with those around you.

Bettors who had a bad weekend can attribute some of there losses to their emotions. The full moon (indians call the red moon) did not help. A Full moon make Vegas very wealthy. Did you know that a ship cruising on the ocean can go its fastest speed- because of the pull on our gravitational system- people actually weigh less - less cargo - less speed. Now Mars enters the picture as a never seen before in our history - gets closer and will be closest on the 27th. Yep- the red moon meets the red planet- what type of gravitational pull can we expect from this. Never happened-we don't know. So why not go slow for a little while and enjoy the transition of sports.

Avoid all ins and understand that GOY and GOM is a term only that it is the belief of one person that a game hits- its 50/50 generally- and goes against percentage betting which -if you ask any long term bettor or capper- will tell you it is the only way to win over the long haul. Remember- Vegas isn't stupid- they have much better and wealthier people betting immediately when games are posted giving Vegas the chance to adjust the odds and having a good idea that the public is heading in that manner.

So bet by percentages- find a winning capper and don't do so many side bets- it has doomed me - way to many times. Remember 1/4 of the pot. If for some reason you get short stacked- simple don't go all in on the next big play that comes your way. Is like a 9 and Q suited in poker. That looks promising but going all in is gambling. Your correct play is small to see the flop.

Can't take back All Ins- unfortunately - and too many time bettors on this site will do just that. I wrote in one of my first posts about a guy that was going to commit suicide because a system that was hitting at an 18-3 mark lost. Many went heavy that night and all 3 plays lost. The capper was so attacked that he left the site. It was also the time around a full moon. Think about it. Emotions have a hugh way in our betting strategies and need to be understood. Good Luck to all

Had the under in Tampa on my card as well...but dropped it at the last minute. Had some rough monday's lately, so I thinned things out.

I do like it though, and wish you luck!!
