  • Roy Jones fighting tonight?

Does anyone knows when Jones is fighting Tarver again?

He is getting +185. I like Jones to get his revenge here.

    What you think guys.

thai....i think tarver wins again....his style give jones fits and i think he won the 1st fight too....he is too long and too strong....and i do not think jones has the will anymore.....let alone the skill......i always remember what marvin hagler used to say after he made his money about staying hungry, "it is tough to wake up at 4:30 a.m. in silk pajamas and go for a 10 mile run".....i think roy is too comfortable and has nothing to prove......he was destroyed his last 2 fights out....glen johnson knocked him out cold and i thought he was hurt real bad when i saw his leg quivering.....JMHO, but i think tarver takes him to school........

Tarver will win. Roy giiten slower and we all know he has no chin. Mostly b/c he never got hit b/c he was too fast. He wont put his guards up and cant stop putting his hands down. Cant teach this dog new tricks. Sry, Roy jones loses...

I just thought that Roy does not want to leave like this. He would want to leave on a high note.

Will be a good fight thought.

          Thanks guy

thai....i do not profess to know all about boxing, but that is where my backround is and i pick very high % of fights....i was one of only ones who nhad winky destroying trinidad this year...as you know in boxing..."styles make fights"...Roy Jones was always unorthodox and had tremendous hand speed....but always kept hands real low and was able to get away with it......however, he is human and has aged.....tarver is long, strong and rangy...his jab and awkward style found its mark repeatedly in the 1st fight and i thought tarver was robbed......fight 2 tarver blasted him with one shot, so who knows how that would have turned out......i do not buy into the theory of wanting to go out on a high note, especially when fighting an opponent of tarvers skill level.....remember tarver just destroyed glen johnson who blasted roy in his last fight.....one does not necessarily have anything to do with the other....but glen is not known for his power...he is a rugged and tough fighter who has earned his keep, but is not a tactician by any means......I do not have a crystal ball, but i just do not see roy winning this bout....but we both know boxing is very funny
