  • Actually....

Someone got on here a few days ago and said dogs were like +10 dimes for the year for dime bettors. Just wanted to correct that and say that is almost right, but not exactly. Depending on a few line sources, and counting +100 as a dog, dogs are around + 5 dimes for the year , and that has been because of the last five days. Before that they were about DEAD EVEN.

Just wanted to make sure everyone got it straight. Bottom line: So far dogs have been really good. Especially (as we all have heard by now) the dogs vs Pedro, Unit, Schilling and Maddux. That obviously won't continue forever, as bettors surely will catch on, but for now it is golden. Somebody pointed out that there was one really bad day (the dogs went 0-7, I verified it), but other than that, dogs have done well.

Does anybody see any prices today that are low because of the dogs barking? Does anyone see the lines adjusting because of dog bettors jumping on mistakes? Let us know when you see this, especially if you like the wager. Good luck.
Please don't question my record or I will leave!!!!

I keep a meticulous record of the dogs and if you bet a dime a dog so far this year, you'd be up $11,160. Let me get the the info together and I'll post it.

I was wrong. You'd be up $13,215 instead, sorry. Most of these totals are rounded down, some are higher and some or lower but I'd say the +/- is probably only around $1000 on the total.

If someone would like to recheck the scores and stuff that would be awesome. I'll eventually get around to doing it, but I doubt today. I wouldn't bother with the lines though, I'm sure you could find higher lines and lower lines if you really wanted too, plus someone who is playing all dogs should always try and find the highest lines.

Did some research in the NBA also

In the first round of the NBA playoffs last year Dogs covered 15 of the first 22 games. That doesn't mean much though, but I'd be extra cautious in taking the fav in the 1st round. What's great this year is, there will be TWICE as many games with the new NBA playoff format.
