I started to wonder how teams that played on Sunday night games on ESPN did playing the next day. Initially my thoughts that they would be getting in later, and wouldn't do as well. Here's what I found out:


Teams that won on Sunday night and played on Monday are 9-2.

Teams that lost Sunday and played Monday are 4-7.

When the home team on Sunday plays at home on Monday, they are 2-4.

When the home team on Sunday plays on the road on Monday, they are 3-0.

The road team on Sunday, playing Monday (regardless of home/away) is 8-5.
