Homer- We gave it a good shot- No way to cap a game with this many variables. Will get em next go-round.

Please get a clue. Yes Schilling is struggling at this time however the Sox are still 20 games over 500 and have a 4 game lead in the loss column, As for Schilling after what he accomplished for Sox fans last year and basically since he decision to pitch those two games in the playoffs have ruined his 2005 season he should still be saluted for helping bring a title to Red Sox Nation.

              Well

Well I would say sorry. But I couldn't have asked for more. Going into the bottom of the ninth inning winning 6-4 with Schilling on the mound. It all was playing out just like I hoped.

And we got the kick in the face. Just like I have been getting the last two or three weeks in Bases. Give or take a couple games.

Tonight was the finish of baseball season for myself for capping it. I'm taking the next 16 days off of capping games. I want to be refreshed for a long and hopefully very profitable Football Season.

I will throw out a Soccer game friday night if I find anything I really like for Saturday Morning.

Thanks guys. I wish the game would have come through for us all. I really hate losing myself, it makes it worse when you know your friends have also lost money on your play.

God this game really pissed me off. :angryfire :angryfire

              I will stop venting.

Very, very brutal loss Homer. Hang in there man, we all know that you capped that game correctly, just got completely screwed in the end. That seems to be going around in baseball.

Please gain a perspective. Homer (a respected, well-meaning, classy poster) put out his GOY on the red sox. He just wanted to help others and himself win some money. Red sox lead the whole game. Then schilling comes in with a lead and blows it. All of us can at least bitch about the reason the game went down, its a way of venting and feeling better about it, while sort of consoling homer on how bad he feels for losing the play. Theres no reason to get into specifics.

Sorry about the loss homer, tough one to swallow.

Keep your chin up Homer. I tailed this play and would tail again. No need for apologies whatsoever. I believe you had this game pegged correctly and it's just unfortunate it turned out the way it did.

:uzi: Schilling and his bloody ankle

We were good with our pocket aces but Schilling that mofo dealt a brutal river card and gave the books trip 2s!!!! This is the only way I can compare this loss.

                    Good luck Homer!!

I never criticized his pick or him. The pick was solid it just didn't turn out the way we hoped.
