We got screwed this year, for this age division they combine two schools and the school they combined us with had one more kid than we did, so their coaching staff gets the team. The team that they combined us with had the all star quarterback for the blue team last season and my son was the all star quarterback for the white team, so we have both all star quarterbacks on the same team, and the other one is the son of the teams coach. So we will have to see how it plays out, but it looks like John Jr. is going to take the spot because so far in 2 scrimmages he has thrown 7 TDs and 0 Ints with a long of about 30 yards and the other boy has thrown 1 TD and 3 Ints, so he might be forced to move his son to another spot.
