As a rule, I try not to bet against Patterson. That guy's got a 2.24 ERA and a 1.08 WHIP -- he's nothing to trifle with ... and the Astros are countering him with their 5th starter. If it weren't for the fact that the Astros are the Astros I would say they wouldn't stand a change today ... but as they are the Astros they'll probably win this game despite the odds against them.

Also, I did find it kinda odd that you question my not betting on the 'Stros when you yourself decided not to back your A's -- a little scared now that you're not playing the Royals anymore?
