Syndicate Investment Groups

Does anyone have any information of any kind about syndicate investment groups?
These are groups that invest in sports wagering, acting somewhat like a mutual fund.
If any one has any information please respond on this thread, and provide input and links if you have them.
I am investigating one, and may look at others.
