we're not gonna call this a 10*, but we will call it a 7* play....
Tonight I'm playing the OVER in San Diego/Washington game..

San Diego/Wash OVER 8 1/2 -118.....7* play

Pitchers are Astacio for Padres, and Drese for Washington...

Astacio..6.06 ERA...Last 3 = 6.14...Life vs Wash 5.06
Drese....5.61.....................7.43............ ..SD... 5.27

Astacio gives up a 295 Batting Avg., Drese giveas up 307

Astacio has a 1.50 WHIP,and Drese 1.32...lots of runners...

SD team ERA is 4.34, and Wash an impressive 3.76..

Hitting for teams is not that great...SD = 259 BA. Wash =254...not many home runs, SD 94 and Wash 76...Low end, but they have respectful Slugging percentages, of 398 and 393...Not great but good...

Considering the quality of pitching, I feel the bats will be pesky enough to get 9+ runs.....Both pitchers, the longer they stay in, 2nd time around batting order, they are in trouble.....

I look for some runs in the 4th, 5th, 6th innings....The WHIPs is what I'm counting on....almost 3 men per inning to get on....1/3 rd score...theres your 9 runs....

Winds are R-L at 10 MPH---temp 80, humidity 71...This hi humidity will hinder long ball hitters, which they aren't, and shouldn't bother what I call Pesky ass, aggravating hitting teams....Nickel and dime you to death...I'm looking to put some of that change in my change Jar...

SD/Wash OVER 8 1/2... 7*....The lack of HR power ( and the low BA's), and decent BP ERA is the reason it's not a 10*....kapt

Forot one stat that may possibly give us another run or 2....Fielding...Both pitchers have hi Whips, thus a lot of runners, neither pitcher has good SO ratio, thus a lot of balls in play....

The leage avg for fielding percentage is 983....

Wash has 1 player at 1000, pitcher who has just 24 attempts....SD has 2 at 987, and 1 at 989....All other starters are below the avg in fielding percentages for both sides...

Should be an error or two for us to get another run or 2.....Pick away at em boys...kapt
