Last Night Hurt- But have no fear. Won 7 in a row and then 3 Losses last night. Ouch. Saw value- but didn't see the games that were played out. Had LA dodgers game down to a tee. Bull Pen gives up 5 in the 9th inning- 7 Runs would have made a push. However- percentages is what makes this all work- not one bad night or one good night. Lets get back- to winning:

Atl/ St. Louis Under 8
Both teams have been Over ponies for the last 8 games. It stops tonight. This would probably be lower later so grab now. The reason it is over is due to how they have been playing over lately. I am taking this one at 3 units tonight. Bull pens have settled down and Smoltz still has the fire. Mulder is pitching well. Bank it.

Ya know what- I can not see why this game isn't my Total Game of the Year or whatever you want. I am playing 10 units- not on frustration from last night but because it is played in St. Louis - where in the beginning of a series- St. Louis has ruled. Smoltz keeps it close. Chipper is still out as far as I know- but Francouer and A. Jones have been hot. Just see this as great pitching duet in San Lou- ie. When he returns this line-up will be as hot as any team. I am talking about taking it from the Cards in the playoffs. It starts tonight. Good Luck all.

I realize -what it might mean to lose a game like this. There is no rock big enough to hide under- both lineups look overpowering. The art of capping appears to visualize the opposite side of public perspective and to gain an advantage of an outcome. How many times have we marched to the belief that something will occur because it makes sense at the time- only to find out that the OverLords have a different plan instead.
I am a novice capper and sometimes can overanalyze or underanalyze a game. Base your bets -not on what I do- but "what is in your wallet". A prudent bet makes ya sleep better at night. I do not want anyone hurt by this play - so I caution you to bet responsibly. You are responsible for what action you take. We have seen many top plays like this go belly up and then jump to another hot capper. So - with that said - and the many overs last night - take your best shot. I'll be on Valium if you need me.

i will tail once again. my plays are usually unders with about one or two a day. and i always wait for your picks. i will tail, do u like it at 7.5? because thats what my book has it as? I think i'll bite and good luck.

Of course I like it better at 8. 7.5 is still sound- if you have doubts-grab the 1/2 point for insurance on a big bet if your book has it. You may want to look at additional books for best odds. I really don't think it will matter. Mulder is 6-1 Under the last 7 starts. Smoltz is up to form - I wonder if this doesn't go into extra innings. Good Luck

Thanks for your input Rook and I believe it helps to debate why a play is strong or not. I decided to make a 2 unit wager on your play with Detroit Over as well. I don't know what Vegas sees but Detroit has the Over nicely if given the stats are true to game form.
